Hi, I'm Amanda. I'm a recent graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science. I'm currently a Software Engineer at HubSpot, and I have prior internship experience at NVIDIA, HBO, and American Express. I'm proficient in Java, Python, and JavaScript.

• Restaurant Revenue Predictor | Link
  Predicted annual restaurant sales based on objective predictors using five different models: (1) baseline model, (2) linear regression using one feature, (3) linear regression with L2 regularization, (4) random forest regression, and (5) 3-layer neural network with k-fold cross validation


• Escape | Link
  Employed TDD and software design patterns to develop a strategy board game that supports various boards, pieces, and movement types from requirements over 3 iterations using Java, JUnit 5, and Eclipse


• Spotify Hit Predictor | Link
  Used a Random Forest Classifier to predict whether a song is likely to be a ‘hit’ based on its musical features with Python, Spotify API, pandas, and scikit-learn. Developed a web application to display prediction using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Firebase Database


• Brigham & Womens Hospital Kiosk Application
  Lead Software Engineer on a 10-person scrum team using Agile development methodologies to design and develop a Java application for pathfinding and other administrative services for Brigham & Women’s hospital
